Description

Khandani Kalesh is India's first family card game made for the way Indian families actually are — the taunts, the tamasha, and all the pyaar-bhare jhagde that happen at every gathering. Split into two teams: Team Patakha (loud, bold, unstoppable) or Team Shatir (smart, strategic, slightly dangerous). Draw a card, hand a challenge to the other team, and rack up points — complete it and you score, back out and they do. Attack, counterattack, repeat, until the cards run out. There's nothing complicated to learn and nothing to explain — read one card and the whole family is in. Perfect for festivals, weddings, holidays, or any time things get a little too peaceful at home.

WHAT IS KHANDANI KALESH?

India's first card game built for the Indian family. Two teams, one khandaan, and all the drama you already live. Team Patakha vs Team Shatir — pick your side and settle it once and for all. From Dadi to the teenager, everyone's in.

The Story Behind Khandani Kalesh

Every Indian family has that one gathering where the fun writes itself. The teasing, the laughter, the little nok-jhok that somehow brings everyone closer by the end of the night. We grew up in those rooms. And we always wondered why no game had ever captured them.

So we made one. Khandani Kalesh is India's first card game built entirely around the Indian family. Team Patakha versus Team Shatir, Dadi versus the teenager, all the masti and drama you already love, now with a scoreboard. No complicated rules. No English-only cards that leave Papa confused. Just one card, and the whole khandaan is in.

We didn't build it to stir up chaos. We built it because these are the moments a family remembers

ANY QUESTIONS?

What is Khandani Kalesh?

Khandani Kalesh is India's first family card game. Made for festivals, family dinners, and the everyday drama every Indian household already runs on. Bring the whole family to the table and turn the drama into memories worth retelling.

What age group is Khandani Kalesh for?

12 and above. Safe for the whole family, from teenagers to grandparents. No adult content, no drinking involved.

How many players can play?

4+ players. Best enjoyed with 6 or more. The bigger the family at the table, the louder the kalesh.

How long is a game?

60 to 90 minutes. Perfect for after-dinner setups, Sunday afternoons, and festival evenings.

What is inside the box?

26 Patakha cards, 26 Shatir cards, and 1 rulebook. 52 cards total, ready to play out of the box.

Can grandparents actually play this?

Yes. Khandani Kalesh is designed to bring out the older generation. In fact, they usually win. The game rewards drama, sharp comebacks, and lived experience. Basically, dadi and nani are built different.

Is it safe for family gatherings? Nothing too edgy?

Completely safe for the family setup. No adult jokes, no drinking prompts. Just the classic desi drama we all grew up around, turned into a game.

What is the best occasion to play Khandani Kalesh?

Festivals, weddings, family reunions, birthdays, cousin sleepovers, and any long weekend where everyone is home. Also a great icebreaker at gatherings.

Is the game in Hindi or English?

Khandani Kalesh is in Hinglish, printed in Roman English, the way we actually talk at home. Everyone at the table, whether they read Hindi or not, will follow along.

Will it be the same every time?

No two games play the same. The fun depends on who is at the table and how petty everyone is willing to get. Extremely high replay value.
